AGCT CLOSED FOR THE ENTRANCE OF EMPTY CONTAINERS
Adriatic Gate Container Terminal (AGCT) has been compelled, due to the increase of traffic and the lack of area for to the construction of the new terminal, to take drastic operational steps in order to safeguard the rapid dispatch of vessels and secure an efficient and fast operation within the available yard area.
Consenquently, the terminal is not operating as „depot“ of empty containers nor performing so called „depot services“ any more. All empty containers entering container terminal have to be nominated for loading on vessel in a shipping line service.
