NAVIS GO LIVE ON AGCT

Print PDF
On Sunday 29th January 2012, two days ahead of schedule, Adriatic Gate Container Terminal has gone live with the new installed Terminal Operating System NAVIS and handled the MV Mekong Spirit using the system.

It should be noted that the implementation of the system in well over 200 container terminals around the world takes normally between 9 to 12 months, whilst thanks to the big efforts made by the AGCT team, the implementation took only 3 months.

The new system allows AGCT and the port of Rijeka to be counted among the most modern container terminals in the world and will help in the improvement of efficiencies and reduction of costs for the container vessels calling at the port of Rijeka.
